About the Appaloosas
The Appaloosa program will focus mostly on racing lines.
Many horses will descend from the mare, WE GO CHARGE, a Hall of Fame racer and producer, as well as several Australian lines from U.S. exports, including TACO TACO, ARES G.L., OCALA FLIGHT, and CRICKADIER. |
About the Lipizzaners
The Lipizzaners here are based on lines from Đakovo and Lipik studs in Croatia. The founding mares' names reflect that - Croatian words for the fruits used in various types of rakija, a traditional brandy! Their "given" names are listed in parentheses where the dam is a real mare.
About the Quarter Horses
BLUE VALENTINE

The Quarter Horse program is divided into two areas, racing and working/ranch.
BLUE VALENTINE descendants form the basis for the working/ranch horses, with popular cutting and reining lines thrown in. The combination of lines is inspired by the reined cow breeding of the California vaquero tradition. Read about it here: National Reined Cow Horse Association. On the racing side of things, primarily American lines are used, with a few Australian lines added via Gubbera Park's sprint program. |
